Ingredients:
• creamy peanut butter of choice:
Peanut butter adds a rich, creamy texture and is a great source of protein and healthy fats. Choose a natural, unsweetened variety for the best results.
• maple or syrup:
Maple syrup is a natural sweetener that adds a subtle caramel flavor and helps to bind the ingredients together. It’s a healthier alternative to refined sugar.
• vanilla protein powder of choice:
Protein powder boosts the protein content of these bars, making them a perfect post-workout snack or anytime treat. Choose your favorite vanilla-flavored protein powder to enhance the taste.
• almond flour:
Almond flour adds a light, nutty flavor and helps to create a smooth texture. It’s also gluten-free and packed with nutrients.
• MCT oil or refined coconut oil:
These healthy fats add a silky texture and provide a quick source of energy. MCT oil is particularly known for its ability to be rapidly absorbed and used by the body.
• Dark chocolate chips:
Dark chocolate chips melt to create a luscious, rich topping. Dark chocolate is not only delicious but also contains antioxidants and less sugar than milk chocolate.

Ingredients
For the Protein Bars:
- 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter of choice
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cups vanilla protein powder of choice
- 2 tablespoons almond flour
- 2-3 tablespoons MCT oil or refined coconut oil, (depending on the consistency of your peanut butter)
For the Chocolate Topping:
- Dark chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Protein Bars
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and maple syrup. Mix until smooth and well combined. If dough is too dry, add one more tbsp of coconut oil .— every protein powder is slightly different
- Add the vanilla protein powder, almond flour, and MCT oil (or refined coconut oil) to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and form a thick dough.
Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Layer
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring between each interval until fully melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the bottom of each cavity of a candy bar silicone mold, ensuring to coat the bottom and sides evenly. You can use a small brush or the back of a spoon to help spread the chocolate up the sides.
Step 3: Shape the Protein Bars
- Once the chocolate is evenly spread in the mold, place the mold in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set slightly.
- After the chocolate has set, evenly distribute the peanut butter dough into each cavity, pressing it down firmly to create a smooth, even layer.
Step 4: Seal with Chocolate
- If there is any remaining melted chocolate, pour it over the top of each bar, ensuring the peanut butter layer is completely covered and sealed with chocolate.
Step 5: Chill and Set
- Place the silicone mold in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours, or until the bars are firm and the chocolate has fully set.
