Ingredients
  

For the Donuts:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup tapioca starch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup plain dairy-free yogurt OR full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons refined coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4-1/3 cup raw cane sugar, coconut sugar, or maple sugar (depending on your desired sweetness)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons refined coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar or maple sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously oil a nonstick donut pan to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Wet Ingredients:

  • In a small bowl, mix the plain dairy-free yogurt (or coconut milk) with the lemon juice or apple cider vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes. This will create a buttermilk-like effect, helping the donuts stay soft and tender. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt mixture, beaten eggs, maple syrup, and sugar, whisking until well incorporated.

Mix the Dry Ingredients:

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
